The Center for Languages, Arts, & Societies of the Silk Road (CLASSRoad) is accepting applications for the online 2024 STARTALK teacher training program. This year, the program will focus on new TELL domains, featuring instructors: Dr. Farid Saydee, Lingling Xie, and Yunliang Bao.
And participating in the workshops featuring Ying Jin, Laura Terrill, Paul Sandrock, and Dr. Jennifer Eddy.
Since 2008 CLASSRoad has been engaging world language educators with online language teacher training.
The program is

Free of cost
-
Caters to Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Persian and Russian language teachers
-
Will run from June 2, 2024 to July 14, 2024 (sync & async)

Will also feature 60 hours total of pre (Spring 2024) and post (Fall 2024) program activities (async)
All successful course participants are eligible to receive Inservice Credit Units from California State University, San Bernardino.

The application deadline is November 29, 2023. Applications will be reviewed on a first come first serve basis given their qualifications. PLAN PLC Statewide Event

To join with affiliate organizations at state, regional and national levels in advocating for the study of international languages.
